Scenario

It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as their long-running rivalry comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner has previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to stand in for Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. Absolutely incredible: the wit, the innuendo, the humor, the characters, the 80s-era timing, the cast, the locations – it’s perfection in a TV show. This kind of TV has been lacking for the last decade at least – it has it all. Sentimentality and joy, tears of laughter and sadness, nostalgia on steroids and a cast who play their parts to perfection. I don’t have a single bad word to say about this show. Hats off to the writers, actors, crew and everyone else involved. This is already the second time I watch it because there are too many jokes that are worth remembering and that you can catch at first glance. Well done!
