Scenario

Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private detective’s ad and becomes the mole in a secret investigation of a nursing home.

I loved it!

A remake of the film Μυστικός πράκτορας (2020).

Despite the corny lines, I found myself really emotional in some parts because of the way the topics were handled – Like the resident suffering from memory problems

I was expecting a comedy full of clichés about some secret, his crazy antics and so on, instead we get a series about a man who not only helped others but actually helped himself recover from the loss of his wife.

However, not everything was serious, which made you feel depressed or bored through the episodes, it kept the series worth watching because you wanted to see how it played out – Who stole it etc

The acting performances were brilliant, the cinematography and the setting; the locations nicely done, I really hope they do a second season & that wonderful mix of laughter, emotion, script, location and actors, as they did in Charles’s next detective-style adventures, like this one.
