Scenario

It follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a documentary television journalist whose job is to expose the wrongdoings of long-respected institutions. In many episodes, Jonathon uses the same lens throughout the series, a medium telephoto lens.

Do you all see that?

Such a lens would not be able to focus on close subjects, such as the selfie with Sasha or in the bedroom with Catherine. The rest of the series has not been released yet, and all future episodes already have ratings.

All with an average of 75?

Almost as if some marketing team is setting expectations for viewers that are more realistic than the 9/10 some Apple fanatic would admit. I don’t believe their numbers either, since the only reason I have Apple TV+ is because it’s included with my student contract with Apple Music.

Just because I can only afford cheap beer doesn’t mean I want cheap entertainment

I gave this show a chance, although I admit I was biased because the only engaging show I’ve seen was Severance, and as usual, it’s garbage. They don’t know how to make entertainment, but like Disney, they know how to promote it and make it last as long as possible.

What happened to innovation?

Just make it a mystery, don’t give answers, and natural human curiosity will draw them like moths to a flame. Sigh.
